Front Dana Model 25/27

The Dana 25 was used in 1941 to 1965 Military Jeeps (MB, M38, M38A1 and M170) and 1946 to 1965 CJ's This Differential uses a 7 3/4 inch ring and pinion, that was only available with 4.27:1, 4.88:1, 5.38:1 and 6.17:1 ratios. The Dana 25 came with three different styles of axle U-joints, with the Cardan-Cross style being the best. The Dana 27 was available in the1966 to 1971 CJ's and M38A1, it used a 7 1/5 inch ring and pinion available in 3.54:1, 3.73:1, 4.27:1, 4.88:1 and 5.38:1 ratios. Many of the parts of the Dana 27 interchange with the Dana 25.
